I cannot believe it’s been just over two months that I’ve
been in Kenya! Time flies! I am with my new host family in Ahero, Kenya!
Ahero is a rural town (about 7,000
people) about 24 kilometers outside of Kisumu (the third largest city in
Kenya).
I have an internship at a
local adult education institution where students are working towards completing
primary and secondary school.
They
are preparing for the national exams in hopes of moving on to the next level of
education! I will have another post later this week or next week talking more
about my new home.
But before
that, I wanted to let you know about some of the transformations I have had in
the two months I have been in Kenya!
